In a case
To mark the bicentenary of the legendary Château Margaux estate, NOIR conceived a poetic film celebrating the architectural and spiritual heritage of this iconic domain.
Entitled Prodige de l’Architecte, the film, directed by Bruno Aveillan, gracefully weaves together history and imagination, bringing into dialogue two eras and two emblematic figures: Louis Combes, the renowned early 19th-century architect who designed the majestic Neo-Palladian château with its famous peristyle of four Ionic columns, and Sir Norman Foster, the distinguished British architect behind the estate’s contemporary wine cellars.
Alongside the film, NOIR created an exceptional collector’s box whose design subtly echoes the clay tones of the vineyard’s soil and the ruby reflections of its grand wine. Inside lies a numbered art book tracing the genesis and creation of this rare film, shot at the very heart of the estate, a vibrant homage to the timeless beauty of Château Margaux and to the art of building a legend. The set also includes a custom-engraved USB key containing the film in high definition and the original score composed by Raphael Ibanez de Garayo.
